Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain said that the work of the judiciary is doubled through the virtual court. He said, “Without a virtual court, the huge pile of cases will not get resolved. Virtual courts are even a way to get rid of traffic jams. And the court, like the medical service, should be open 24 hours a day.” The Chief Justice made the remarks while addressing a hearing on the 'regular appeal' of Jharu and Makim of Chuadanga, who were executed four years ago even before the completion of the legal procedure. Mentioning that lawyers from Switzerland, Singapore, London and America also took part in the hearing, he said that there are many such people. The attorney general also held hearings from outside the country. But the Chief Justice announced the opening of the Physical Court in December, citing the fact that lawyers are all interested of the Physical Court.
